What are doshas?

The word dosha originated from Sanskrit, which is an Ayurvedic term. If translated into English, it can mean 'one which can cause problems.

There are 3 types of Doshas which are Vata, Kapha, and Pitta. These three dosha's elements affect the physical and psychological health of the human being. Our health is the balance of the five elements (air, earth, space, water, and fire).

Each person has a unique and different proportion of doshas. For example, one may have more pitta dosha and the other may have more Vata dosha or Kapha dosha or vice versa other doshas also.
